ADOPTION /FOSTER PROCESS
Please note that we are ALWAYS in desperate need of fosters! We provide ALL supplies and vetting, you supply a safe, loving place to stay temporarily until they find their forever home.
STEP 1
Find a dog here on the website that might be a good energy and age match. Contact us to schedule a meet and greet. We prefer to wait on introducing your dog to any potential new dog until you know you would like to proceed with applying for that dog. All dogs are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed and microchipped.
STEP 2
If you would like to proceed in adopting that dog, contact us to schedule a Home Safety Check and application. Our home check consists of checking fencing, chemicals, plants, etc.
STEP 3
Once the home check clears, fill out the Adoption Contract or Foster to Adopt Agreement (depending on the dog). For example, if a dog still needs to spayed or neutered, they go on a foster to adopt agreement and stay legally under the rescue to ensure it is completed. Afterwards, the full contract is completed.

NOTE:
If a dog is fully vetted, they can be officially adopted. If they are not yet spayed or neutered, needing a surgery that the rescue is covering, vaccines not complete, etc, they stay legally belonging to the rescue until it is all complete. At that time, the adoption contract is complete and ownership is transferred to new owner.

We strive to keep adoption fees as low as possible. Most animals need vetting that costs much more than the set adoption fee. Adopting a new family member is a lifelong commitment and all of our animals come fully vetted, vaccinate and microchipped. There are times a dog might be available for a forever foster home, which means the adoption fee is waived, you give the love and the food, we take care of their vetting for life!
